With home heating costs rarely coming down and energy prices rising around the world, it’s more important than ever to think about how to make your home more energy efficient. This is easier to do in newer properties as they are built more efficiently with double-glazed doors and windows and insulation throughout. Often lacking these qualities, older and historic properties are a whole other matter altogether. And due to their periodic nature, adding insulation can be costly.
